Fairway Contract Negotiations: Update 2
As of today, (November 30), the Union and company have both presented proposals and are having a difficult time dealing with many of the same economic issues that were present during the industry negotiations. Both sides are eager to get a settlement prior to the 1-2-11 expiration. There are sessions already scheduled for the next three weeks and the Union negotiating committee is determined to get the best possible contract that it can. We have a VERY strong and diverse committee that is up to the task. Because it is still very early in the process there are really no specifics to report as of yet online but more details to follow.
